This is WAR!

Chipmunks. Droves and droves of chipmunks have invaded my garden. They have eaten everything in sight! Not one seedling left. I replanted, thinking it was slugs and as the new seedlings emerged I caught them in the act. I tried the sonic mole chaser things that claim to keep them away and it worked for a day. Then they came back. So I bought a havahart trap and after two days of setting it incorrectly, I didn't have a thing but they were eating well! In retrospect, it may have been a good thing since they learned to go into it for food and no alarms were set off. I figured out what I did wrong (next time I should read the instructions instead of believing I know everything) and set it correctly and 10 minutes later I had one!

Two so far. 2 down, 98 to go! I have a feeling there may be that many there. Yikes. They have invaded my life and are taking over!!! They are now in my walls too. Heading back to the home improvement store for indoor traps and sonic chasers. Wish my kitten would hurry up and grow up and catch them!
